Going, going, ...
We're moving to San Francisco. I'm mainly using this post to document conversations with my landlord before we move so that he'll stick to what he told me on the phone. Some might say law school has made me paranoid. Those who know me would say I've always been paranoid and law school has only made matters worse.

I talked to Mike today about the stains on the walls and shelf. Turns out they painted with water based paint so if I clean it the paint comes off. He said to call the office. I called the office and they said marks on the walls were ordinary wear and tear and I wouldn't be charged. They also said I didn't have to scrub the shelves because they would paint them (and the walls) anyway. I told them a few times I didn't want a cleaning crew to come in, so if I needed to clean it they needed to let me know now. This conversation happened about 11:30 am today.
Landlord abuse; tenant abuse; polling abuse; this whole system is abused!

I'm sure will beat number four in the end, but there's just no winners when you mess with the first three.
